Where was our South-Madurai

The capital of the Pandyas was Madurai.

This city was destroyed by a great flood during the first great deluge.

To distinguish this very ancient Madurai from the present-day Madurai, it was called Then-Madurai(South Madurai).

The South-Madurai is named as Kavadapuram or Kapadapuram.

No clear literary evidence is available regarding this South-Madurai, which was destroyed by the first Big Tsunami flood.

If you look closely at Google Maps, a rectangular fort is visible centered around the present-day Mauritius island.

Similarly, a rectangular fort is also visible centered around Diego Garcia island.

Therefore, based on the Tamil Literature "Iraiyanar Kalaviyal" and Google Maps, that ancient South-Madurai where the ancient Tamils ​​lived

could be the present-day Mauritius island, or Diego Garcia island, or both.

This South-Madurai (Mauritius island), located near Madagascar in Africa, might be the place where the first humans originated.

முதலாம் ஊழிக்காலத்தில் உண்டான கடல்கோளால் இந்நகரம் அழிந்துவிட்டது. 

மிகமிகமிகத் தொன்மையான இந்த மதுரையை இன்றைய மதுரையிலிருந்து வேறுபடுத்திக் காட்டுவதற்காகத் தென்மதுரை என்று அழைத்துள்ளனர்.

தென்மதுரை = கவாடபரம் அல்லது கபாடபுரம்.  

முதலாம் கடல்கோளால் அழிந்துபோன இந்தத் தென்மதுரை பற்றிய தெளிவான இலக்கியச் சான்றுகள் ஏதும் கிடைக்கப்பெறவில்லை.

கூகுள் புவிப்படத்தை உற்றுப் பார்த்தால், இன்றைய மொரிசியசு தீவை மையப்படுத்தி ஒரு செவ்வக வடிவமான கோட்டை தென்படுகிறது.

இதைப் போன்றே டிகோகார்சிகா தீவைமையப்படுத்தியு ஒரு செவ்வக வடிவமான கோட்டை தென்படுகிறது.

எனவே “இறையனார் களவியல்” மற்றும் கூகுள் புவிப்படம்  இவற்றின் அடிப்படையில்  பண்டைய தமிழர்  வாழ்ந்த தென்மதுரை என்பது

இன்றைய மொரிசியசு தீவு அல்லது டிகோகார்சிகா தீவு, அல்லது இரண்டுமாக இருக்கலாம்.

ஆப்பிரிக்காவில் மடகாசுக்கர் தீவிற்கு அருகில் உள்ள இந்தத் தென்மதுரையே (மொரிசியசு தீவு) ஆதிமனிதன் தோன்றிய இடமாக இருக்கலாம்.
