Have meteorites fallen near Madurai?

The circular craters on the Moon are visible due to meteorite impacts. Similar to what is seen on the Moon, circular valleys surrounded by hills can be observed near Madurai.

Evidence of meteorite impacts around Madurai is still visible today. I have marked five locations where meteorites may have fallen with red ink and attached the map.

Are these circular hills found in Tamil Nadu formed by meteorite impacts? If so, where are the meteorites that fell there? Did the Tamils, who established the Sangam and studied Tamil literature, not investigate these meteorites?

The place where the village of Yeriyodu is located might be the site where a meteorite fell. No crater was formed there due to the impact. The circular valley area near Yeriyodu village in Kadavur Idaiyapatti, with a diameter of approximately 8 km, could be the site of a meteorite impact. It is a circular valley precisely because of the meteorite impact.

This 8 km diameter circular valley is covered by sediments brought in by the massive tsunami that struck Tamil Nadu when the sea engulfed Kumari Kottam. It is my opinion that the channels through which the floodwaters receded have now become mountain passes (pathways).

The sanctum sanctorum towers of the temples in Madurai and Thiruveezhimizhalai in Thiruvarur district are said to be made of meteorites. Because these two tower stones arrived from the heavens, the Thiruvilaiyadal Puranam refers to them as "Vinnizhi Vimanam" (heaven-descended towers).
